A quick, cheerful and yummy snack

Ingredients:

  • cherry tomatoes
  • fresh basil
  • cucumber
  • fresh pineapple
  • mozzarella cheese balls
  • 30+ low-fat cheese
  • strawberries
  • peppers
  • (you can use any fruit or vegetable of your choice)

Preparation:

Cut all the fruit and vegetables into small cubes, you don't have to cut the cherry tomatoes and strawberries. Take some long skewers and thread the fruits and vegetables of your choice onto the skewer. Tasty combinations are: cherry tomatoes with mozzarella and basil; cherry tomatoes, cucumber and peppers, pineapple, strawberries and low-fat cheese. Or on the barbecue: cherry tomatoes, peppers, onions and mushrooms.

It makes a great and healthy snack for kids. Create fun skewers and decorate them with garlands and bright colours.
